About HouseScore

HouseScore is a free tool that helps you evaluate any location worldwide based on the amenities around it. Whether you're apartment hunting, relocating to a new city, or just curious about a neighborhood, HouseScore gives you an instant, objective score from 0 to 10.

How it works

Click anywhere on the map or search for an address. HouseScore analyzes the area within a 1km radius and identifies nearby amenities like supermarkets, schools, pharmacies, parks, public transport, restaurants, and more. Each category is scored based on proximity and availability, then combined into a single overall score using a weighted algorithm.

Our data source

HouseScore uses data from OpenStreetMap, the world's largest collaborative geographic database. OpenStreetMap is maintained by a global community of contributors and provides excellent coverage in most urban areas worldwide.

Who's behind this?

HouseScore is a project by Nexalya, a technology company based in Morocco. We build digital tools that make everyday decisions easier. HouseScore was born from a simple frustration: when looking for a new place to live, there was no quick way to objectively compare neighborhoods based on what's actually nearby.
